For Credit Unions

Your rates are your best marketing. We can prove where they stand.

RateAPI tracks the published rates of 3,700+ US credit unions daily — including yours — and ranks every market by true cost. Scorecards show exactly where your board sits against your in-state peers.

Your best published rate, per product, ranked

A scorecard takes your best published APR for each of five everyday products — a 30-year purchase mortgage, a new auto loan, a used auto loan, a HELOC, an unsecured personal loan, and a 12-month CD — and ranks each one against every in-state credit union we track. It refreshes weekly. Promotional teasers are excluded, so you are compared on the standard rate a member actually gets, and every market shown has a minimum of eight peers so the ranking means something.

Plenty of credit unions are hidden market leaders and simply don’t know it. The scorecard is often the first time a board sees, in one place, that it already has the best auto rate in the state.

Five products that matter

30-year purchase mortgage, new and used auto, HELOC, unsecured personal, and a 12-month CD — the rates members shop most.

02

Ranked against real peers

Every in-state credit union we track with a current rate, a minimum of eight peers per market, and promotional teasers left out.

Rankings move as the market moves, so your board is looking at where you stand now, not a snapshot from last quarter.

It’s all your own public information.

  • Published, not private. Everything on your scorecard is the public rate information you already post on your own website. We show it back to you, in context.
  • Re-verified daily, with proof. We read your rates from your site and re-check them every day. Each number traces to the exact page we read it from.
  • Zero affiliate revenue. We take no referral or affiliate money. Rankings cannot be bought — which is exactly why they’re credible when they say you’re winning.
  • Wrong? We’ll trace it. If anything looks off, claim your profile or email us and we’ll take you to the exact page we read it from and fix any genuine misread.

Common questions

Where does the data come from?

Everything on your scorecard is your own public, published rate information — the same rates posted on your website. We gather them from your site and re-verify them daily with page-level proof, so every number traces back to the exact page we read it from.

Can we correct an error?

Yes. If anything on your scorecard looks wrong, email kam@rateapi.dev and we'll trace it to the exact page and line we read it from. If we misread it, we fix it; if the page changed, the next daily verification picks it up.

Do you sell leads or take referral fees?

Never. RateAPI takes zero affiliate or referral revenue. No credit union can pay to move up a ranking. That independence is the whole point — it is exactly why the ranking is credible when it says you are winning.

How do we get our scorecard?

Email kam@rateapi.dev with your credit union's name and we'll send your scorecard and refresh it weekly. Weekly scorecards are a new program, so getting on the list early means you help shape it.

Is RateAPI a rate-comparison site?

No. RateAPI is rate data infrastructure. The public profile pages exist so every number we publish is verifiable, but the business sells data and software — never leads, never placement, zero affiliate revenue. There is no way to pay for position, which is exactly why the rankings are worth showing your board.

How do we claim our profile?

Submit the claim form with your name and a work email on your credit union's own domain — a matching domain verifies you instantly. Claiming is free for credit union staff and lets you correct or update rates, add products we missed, and take ownership of the page prospective members see. Claiming never changes your ranking, only the accuracy of your data.
